Massoud Hassani grew up on the edge of a windy desert in Afghanistan. He says that as a child his playing field was ridden with land mines and explosives, making it extremely dangerous and unsafe. It was this that inspired him to create the “Mine Kafon”.
The “Mine Kafon” technology has been specifically designed to detonate explosives. The €40 device is made from bamboo and operates on wind power, making it an affordable and efficient solution for making ex-war grounds safe again.
