As we come to the end of Q1, we wanted to share a brief update on what we’ve been working on at Ilex Content Strategies, and some of the milestones that have set the tone for 2026 so far.

 

New Clients Join The Ilex Roster

We’re delighted to have been appointed PR Agency of Record for EU Networks, a European digital infrastructure provider operating a carrier-grade fibre network across key regions. We’re particularly pleased to be working again with Marisa Trisolino, CEO of EU Networks, as we deliver international media relations through our Borderless PR model. 

Expanding Our Content Offering With Video

This quarter also marked the delivery of our first video project for TNS Global, a leading telecom infrastructure provider from Kazakhstan.

Video continues to play an increasingly important role in B2B communications, particularly when it comes to explaining complex technical concepts clearly and engaging new audiences. It’s been great to see this project come together under tight timescales and to support TNS Global in bringing its story to life in a new format.

CEO Thought Leadership In PR Week

Our CEO, Lucia Barbato, was featured in PR Week UK ahead of International Women’s Day. The article examines gender disparity in the industry and focuses on progression and the structural barriers that continue to shape careers in PR.

It remains a critical issue for an industry that continues to lose experienced women at the midpoint of their careers. If PR wants to retain talent, strengthen leadership and remain commercially resilient, it must interrogate how progression really works, and who it rewards.

On The Ground At Capacity Middle East

In February, our Managing Director Matthew Whalley and Account Executive Alice Atkins attended Capacity Middle East. It was great to catch up with clients, partners and industry peers from across the global connectivity ecosystem.

As ever, the event reinforced the importance of clear positioning, consistent storytelling and year-round visibility to support sales conversations in an increasingly competitive market.

Refreshed Website

One of our milestones this quarter has been the launch of our new website. As our client base and international footprint continue to grow, it is important that our digital presence fully reflects who we are today: a global B2B marketing and communications partner built around Borderless PR, sales enablement and marketing-led growth.

The refreshed site sharpens our positioning, showcases our work more clearly and makes it easier for prospects and partners to understand how we help technology and telecoms organisations communicate innovation and create momentum worldwide.

Looking Ahead

In Q2, our Managing Director Matthew Whalley and the Ilex videography team will be attending the inaugural CCT Nordics in Norway in April. Our U.S. partner Matt Ray will be at ITW in May, and the Ilex cybersecurity team will be at Infosecurity Europe in London in June.
